Find & Replace:-

Find and Replace is a very important tool of our MS word 2013 when we are working on MS word with our biggest and smallest documents, then in such a situation, if any very important word or any particular sentence or any other Even if the type of text goes wrong, then it is very difficult to find it and it also costs us a lot of time, so if in such a situation Find option is very useful for us, with the help of Find option we can find any particular text. A sentence or any word can be found and then by using Replace option, we can also change it. We use the Find option to find any important word.

There are 2 steps to activate the Find option

step1st:-

  • First of all click on the home tab of M.S word 2013
  • After that select the Editing group
  • After that select the Find option in it
  • After this, as soon as you click on the Find option, then the navigation plan will be activated on the left-hand side of your S-word window’s screen.
  • After this, on the search box of the navigation plan, type the text that you want to find in that document.

For Example – I want to find Yourstudynotes.com in my document

If this word is there in our document, then it will be highlighted with yellow color. find word

2nd Step-

If we want to activate the find option directly, then there is also a shortcut key for this.

Ctrl+F

Replace:-

Replace is an option of MS word only when we work on a document, sometimes we get mistakes as if we have to write some other word and if we have written something else, then it is in the whole document out of that word. If we want to change or any Sentence, then we can do it with the help of Replace option For example- As if we have written only a word in place of MS word in our entire document, then we can find and replace that help.

Step:-

  • Click on the home tab of M.S word 2013
  • After that select the Editing group
  • After that click on Replace button
  • After that, a dialog box of Find and replace will open on your screen.
  • Then you type that word in the Find box which you want to change.

For example- I have replaced yourstudynotes.com with youstudynotes.com, so I will type that word in it.

Then after that in Replace with, write the word that you want to write.
And click on Replace button

And if you want to change all the words in your entire document, then click on Replace all
